Hosting Environment Security

SafetyMonitor is securely hosted on cloud infrastructure housed in Amazon Web Service's data centers, designed to satisfy the requirements of our most security-sensitive customers. Each data center is monitored 24/7, 365 days a year by skilled and experienced IT professionals.

AWS Cloud infrastructure meets the requirements of an extensive list of global security standards, including: ISO 27001, SOC, the PCI Data Security Standard, FedRAMP, the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Information Security Manual, and the Singapore Multi-Tier Cloud Security Standard (MTCS SS 584).

Encryption

SafetyMonitor uses SSL Encryption throughout all of its web applications and services.  256-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) data encryption is employed to protect all data access across the Internet.

Data Backups

SafetyMonitor works to backup subscriber data in multiple ways to protect from any potential data loss or corruption. Each backup is stored on a secure and encrypted server.
All client data is stored on a secure server or backup directory that requires access authentication.
Each client’s information is backed up to protect against accidental or malicious data deletion or corruption.
To protect against data loss, snapshots of all subscriber data are made at 60-minute intervals. Archival backups of all subscriber data are also made daily, and are retained for 12 months.
